[호주이민/호주영주권] 호주 사회복지학과 IELTS 7.0 요구 변경

 

2008년 7월 23일부터 새로이 발표된 이민법 사회복지학 ( Community Welfare Work/ Applied Social Science 등)이 2010년 1월부터 Welfare Work 기술심사가 어려워질 예정이라고 기술심사 기관인 AIWCW에서 발표했습니다

현재 재학중이나 입학 예정자분들한테는 큰 관심이 갖어 질거라 생각이 듭니다. 올해 입학하신 분들도 2010년 1월전에는 반드시 IELTS overall Academic 7.0을 제출해야하며, 유학후 이민의 경우는 기관에서 인정한 학교를 졸업해야지만 영주권 신청이 가능하게 되었습니다.

 

기관 인정 학교 리스트 http://www.aiwcw.org.au/downloads/APPRVDCOURSES230708.htm 참조 하시고요, 호주 유학후 이민을 준비 하시는 분들 참고 하시어 신중한 학과 선택 하시길 바랍니다. IELTS 7.0 점수는 보통 1, 2년 공부해서는 나오지 않는 점수이며, 호주 대학 의과대 평균 점수라 생각하시면 이해가 빠르실겁니다. 그 만큼 유학 상담 하실때 참조해 주시길 바랍니다.

 

사회복지학과 대신 대처할수 있는 추천학과는 치기공과 편집 디자인을 제가 추천해 드리고 싶습니다. 두 학과 모두 2년제이며, 치기공은 6.0 / 편집 디자인은 5.0 각각 영어 점수가 필요 합니다.

 

 

새로운 기술심사 기준- 2010년 1월 부터 시행 예정

2010년 1월부터는 welfare로 기술심사 받기가 어려워 질예정입니다. 호주에서 유학을 하든 외국에서의 학력과 경력으로 신청하든 IELTS Academic module overall 7.0이 필수사항이 될예정입니다. 호주, 미국, 캐나다, 영국, 뉴질랜드, 싱가폴 여권을 가진 사람들에게는 적용되지 않습니다.

또한 호주에서 유학하시는 분들은 기술심사기관에서 approved된 학교졸업자만이 기술심사기관에서 심사를 하겠다고 했습니다

현재 공부하시는 분들은 2010년 1월전에 기술심사를 하셔야 할것같습니다.

아래의 글은 기술심사 기관(AIWCW)에서 발표한 원문입니다.

 

“As a professional welfare worker in an industry where communication is an import!!!ant part of dealing with people and their problems, it is essential that the welfare worker can communicate competently and safely with clients and their families, colleagues and other relevant professionals - including representatives in the community services and other aligned industries.  It is essential that the professional welfare worker has a proficient English language skill.

 

With effect from 1 January 2010, applicants requesting admission to membership of the Australian Institute of Welfare and Community Workers, including recognition of qualifications for assessment as a welfare worker for the purpose of migration to Australia, must provide evidence of a proficiency in the English language of not less than an Overall Score of 7.0 in the Academic version of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Test.  The required scores must appear on a Single Test Report form and must not be more that two (2) years old when the Application for Assessment as a Welfare Worker is submitted.  An original copy of the IELTS test report is required.

Exemptions to this requirement will be granted to Australian permanent residents and Passport holders from the following countries if their academic qualification was taught in the English language:

-           Australia                                          -     Canada

-           Ireland                                             -     New Zealand

-           Singapore                                       -     United Kingdom

-           United States of America"
